As a result of a capacity increase and representation in the Russian Federation as Infokabel, the Minsk Cable Plant has managed to reach another level of production.
Minsk Cable Plant Minskkabel Joint Limited Liability Company is one of the leading manufacturers of cable and wiring products and is specialized in the manufacture of optical cables for an interconnected communication network of Belarus, Russia, the CIS and non-CIS countries.

The company was founded in 2000; its production is located in the free economic zone Minsk FEZ with an area of 1.5 hectares. Being a resident of Minsk FEZ, the company gets significant benefits allowing the company's products to be competitive on the cable market.
Minsk Cable Plant Minskkabel JLLC was one of the first to begin the production of fiber optic cables for the construction of passive optical networks (PON).
In 2012, the plant was completely modernized, and increased the volume and range of products.
The following types of products under the Minskkabel trademark can be attributed to the priorities of the manufactured assortment:
- local telephone cables with polythene insulation and sheath in a protective hose made of polyvinyl chloride;
- telephone exchange cables with polythene insulation in polythene sheath;

Additionally, over the years, the company has been selling its products to many other foreign countries: Russia, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Turkmenistan, Armenia, Lithuania and others. The company sells its products both under direct contracts and through its representative offices and agents:
